Christmas Songs for Children | CoComelon

Christmas songs for children are an enjoyable way to teach them about the true meaning of Christmas. These songs are very sentimental and a fantastic way to remind your kids of the traditions you grew up with.

Little children love songs where they move their hands, fingers, and arms to "act out" the song. These are some fantastic circle time songs you can teach in big or small groups. Patience and lots of practice and then they will be singing non-stop. Super for the kindergarten classroom.

Most tellingly, Christmas songs render the joy and anticipation of children at Christmastime. Many new and old christmas songs are sung in schools and kindergartens today. These new hits as well as a colorful variety of German and international classics for Advent, Christmas and winter time are included in the new song book of the award-winning LIEDERPROJEKT.

We offer a range of school Christmas song packs, including Christmas carols for schools and primary Christmas songs from Niki Davies, Matthew Crossey and Tom Kirkham. All of our original Christmas songs have been composed for primary school children between 5 and 11 years old, so work perfectly as KS2 or KS1 Christmas songs.

Our primary school Christmas song packs come with a selection of toe-tapping tunes that children and teachers will love. Packs contain KS1 and KS2 Christmas songs that can be performed across year groups with minimal preparation and fuss for a stress-free experience. The packs contain vocal and backing tracks to the songs, song lyrics and sheet music arranged for piano, vocal and guitar.

Sheena Blackhall has written many Scots songs and poems for children. Among them are several for Christmas time. We have here short video clips of Sheena singing the songs and below we have some of the lyrics.

Psalm 8:2 tell us that "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." - even children can see the wonder of God's Creation and praise him spontaneously for that, to the consternation of adults who want to deny God! If they can do that, then there's got to be a case for letting them sing things that they would choose, songs in a style they enjoy.

I've found, as have many other children's leaders, that for kids to enjoy singing songs so much they come back for more, I have to have fun songs, with some energy in them. That's the kind of song the children want for the rest of the year, so why not choose songs like that for Christmas?

Guess what - that's what I'm trying to achieve in my children's Christmas songs. Here are some links so you can listen and try them for yourselves. PDF sheet music downloads are free - so you can try them out for nothing (with the usual fair license restrictions). 041b061a72
